How To ...
1.Open the scanner lid. Place your face in the scanner. Align your face centrally with the arrow on the right-hand side of the scanner.2.Launch Image application.3.Select File>Import> Twain. The Twain pop-up window opens.4.Choose the Image Type pull-down menu, your face will NOT be on there, so it's not worth looking.5.Adjust resolution to specific parameters. It is best to select a high resolution such as 300 - 600 dots per inch (dpi).6.You now need to select the whole region of your image/face, move the mouse cursor to the preview portion of the pop-up window (the cursor should change into a plus sign +). Click and hold the left mouse button and select the whole region to scan and release the mouse button. A rectangular marquee should appear around the region you chose. 7.Once you are satisfied with selected whole area to be scanned, click the Scan button. (It may be easier at this point to get a helper or friend to do this as you now need to keep exceptionally still while the scan is in process). Once scanned the image will be directly imported into the image application.8.After closing the Twain window, you may now save the file by selecting File>Save As. Select the desired destination and format for your image (such as .jpg, .psd, .tif. gif. bmp) and give it a title. Click the Save button.* If you have sensitive eves please wear sun shades or glasses, not only does this make you look cool but also they are good for protect your iris's. * Note, CCD scanners are only bright light sources and no adverse reactions can be effected, aside from a slight dazzling, please be careful though as no responsibility can be accepted for damage to your scanner, or yourself.
