1. First and foremost Scanners are electrical items and if you don't already know, simply: Electricity and Water don't mix. But hey you may be thinking, water, where. Water is present in You!, your saliva is a liquid and there is a very slim chance of electrocution. * If you are an excessive dribbler one way to remedy this is by stuffing your mouth full of tissue paper and cotton wool buds, thereby eliminating any leaks onto the equipment. 2. Remember to remove any mouth packing materials after scanning as reportedly it can cause some discomfoting ailments such as bloated cheeks and a lack of communication skills as in the usual ways, this can last for days or weeks if not remedied straight away. 3. Do not lean too hard on the scanner, it contains glass and this, as you may or may not know; is dangerous. * be gentle and take care. 4. For people with excessively large heads that won't fit in the scanner; Either get a bigger scanner or do two scans of both halfs of your face and these can then be displayed as one. 5. It is advisable to wear Sunnies® if you are very sensitive to light. If you choose not to wear these then after the scan you may experience some 'dazzling' of the eyes, this is normal but please remain seated until hazyness has gone before moving to prevent accidental damage to the scanner or yourself.
